What other fibre-optic aircraft do not have

01 Distance

20 km

Working radius up to 30 km

Three optical link configurations — 20, 25 and 30 km. Battery capacity covers the route and a long watch in standby mode.

8S3P · 16,500 mAh

Uprated batteries for extended watches are optional.

line launch point 20 km

Coverage sector from the launch point. Range is set by the spool configuration. The map is schematic.

02 Picture

Full HD

You see the detail instead of guessing

A 5 MP digital camera, 1080p / 60 fps, instead of analogue noise. A clear picture helps to tell objects apart, along with their detail and direction of travel.

Link monitoring throughout the flight

Signal level (RX) on the aircraft-to-station leg is visible in real time. You notice the optical line degrading beforethe picture disappears, and you have time to act.

03 Fibre

Stabilityup to 90%

Fibre wound in-house

Consistent performance along the route comes from quality control at every step — from the bobbin and the fibre itself to the finished spool.

  • Wound in-house rather than bought in and resold
  • Incoming fibre inspection and line reflectometry
  • Prompt spool replacement if any technical problem arises

04 Aircraft optics

Any thermal camera. Or a look behind.

The configuration follows the unit's task rather than what is in stock. The thermal camera and the rear-view camera are on a quick-release mount: they can be fitted or removed right on the position, in minutes and without tools.

05 Workplace

A ground station, or simply a laptop

Minimum equipment on the position. A full ground control station of our own manufacture — or a laptop running Venat Streamer, if the position calls for light kit and a quick move.

A 50 m fibre-optic extension is included

The launch point can be moved 50 metres away from the ground station or laptop. That gives more freedom in placing equipment and arranging a safe workplace.

06 Audio

MICROPHONE

Sound from outside the camera's field of view

The aircraft transmits sound. You get a better sense of what is happening behind a treeline, behind a building or in the camera's blind spot. It is an extra channel of situational awareness.

07 Ground station

VENAT HIVE

One station. Up to 4 aircraft. Unlimited operators.

A ground control station for a distributed network of fibre-optic aircraft. Control is either directly from the station or remotely, over a secure link.

  1. Scenario 01

    One operator, several aircraft

One person connects up to 4 fibre-optic aircraft to the station and flies them in turn. Aircraft do not sit idle, and the team allocates operators more efficiently.

  2. Scenario 02

    Several local operators

Auxiliary pilots with laptops join the station operator — up to 2 at once. Parallel work on one network without reconfiguring the station.

  3. Scenario 03

    Local plus remote

Remote operators connect over Starlink and a VPS and divide the stages of flight and watch between them. The local pilot concentrates on the main task.

  4. Scenario 04

    Fully remote control

Aircraft can be placed in a prepared working area with no operator nearby — control goes over a secure link. The number of remote operators is not limited.

The operator works where it is convenient and safe.

What the station does

  • Sortie video recordingEvery sortie is saved on the station — for debriefing and reporting
  • Streaming to external systemsBroadcast to Delta, Vezha and other situational awareness systems
  • Optical line monitoringLink quality for each aircraft in real time
  • Switching between aircraftSelecting an aircraft to fly without reconfiguring the station
  • up to 4 aircraftconnected at once
  • 80 / 400 mslocal / remote
  • Starlink / VPNsecure link
  • 10″ and 13″compatible platforms

We will show the station in operation — we can come to you with a presentation.

Arrange a demonstration

08 Standby mode

Optimised for long watches

The design lets you leave the aircraft in standby on uneven ground and return to flight when you need to.

We will explain how to set up long watches and remote control on Venat.

Procurement

Three ways to obtain VENAT

E-points

Buy the full set with e-points — the fastest route if points have already been allocated to the unit.

Direct contract

Direct purchase from the manufacturer. A complete unit kit, or single and serial deliveries.

Dotchain Defense

Procurement through the Dotchain Defense platform — if your unit already works through it.
